Started making fan noises within 1st half year. Fan noises have been coming and going the next year. Blue light that cannot be turned off looks cool but sucks in the bedroom as it affects the circidian rythm through suppression of melatonin production. I really like the moisture sensor. Its a downside that the sensor is in the unit, because it will be more humid in the vicinity, but it still works great to get some control over the min and max humidity in the room.
