Its so easy, all the apps in one place, google tv has good account management for kids / adults, time lockouts etc. Powerful enough hardware to run various apps

We got this so that we could surpass our TVs outdated OS, however I have found that while it does what we need, it's frustrating to use at the best of times. Sometimes it takes a handful of pressing the power button to get it to turn off, and it likes to keep turning itself back on. It can lag quite a bit. YouTube often doesn't work - which is our main viewing platform. I've considered returning it but my TV OS is only getting older so this feels like the lesser annoyance.

A massive improvement / alternative to a casting device. It converts a none internet TV to an internet TV.

As with all Google products, works well and integrates with my other gear.

Picked this up today and installed it pretty quick with no issues - it works and our old TV has a new life! Very happy with this little gadget.
