Awesome microphones and a good price. I love that they come with a case. The clips they come with are not the standard size for microphone stands, you must get the smaller adapter or use your own microphone clips. They sound really great but don't put them too close to other equipment because they will bleed into it, so obviously they have a decent pickup radius and gain. The Samson R21 is absolutely perfect for things like punk, metal, hardcore and other extremely loud/rowdy types of music. I've used them for 5 years and they have done the job just fine. Mine have been dropped, kicked, thrown, twirled.....beer-soaked, rained on....and just about anything else you can think of. They still work fine and I don't really worry about anyone destroying/stealing them. Not a bad investment at all.I will say that anyone who thinks that the R21 sounds even relatively close to a Shure SM58 should have their heads examined. These are 2 entirely different animals. Not much to say other than it has a decent plastic case for the road with mic clips. Certainly not going to break the bank for three mics that will be abused by open mic gigs and karaoke shows. Solid and fairly rugged, they dont have a lot of weight to them but the sound is decent with a bit of minor EQ.

I am part of an Irish/ Acoustic trio, I have used these mic's in for our recent show and I love them, Great sound for an inexpensive microphone. I highly recommend them.

I needed to replace some beaten up old house mic's for a club that gets loads of visiting bands, I have now bought two sets, they sound great and the bands like the sound, and I don't care at this price if they get smashed
