Buy something else. The heating power is very poor whn compared to similar sised 800W ovens. Its also very poor value for money. I made the mistake of choosing AEG for my new kitchen appliances. I was always really impressed with the quality of my old AEG stuff. Now its just overpriced and crappy. AEG is trading on a name not on its good heritage.

The microwave is easy to use with slick controls that is intuitive and quick to learn.

Even me, in a dim morning kitchen, can’t see where the buttons are. They should illuminate when you open the door and put food in, so you can see where the buttons are. I am not blind or partially sighted, but I can only imagine how utterly useless the design is without any feeling points on the panel to feel where any of the buttons are? I have to turn several lights on now for the dark icons where the buttons are can be seen. Previous microwave - you could clearly see the buttons. How annoying!!! Are products made with older people, visibly challenged users in mind?

For the first time in my life a microwave has died, luckily it happened right before the end of the warranty, so it’s hopefully getting fixed for free. I would never buy anything from this brand again given this awful experience.

I like the microwave and thought the inside would reflect the outside size. However the inside is a lot small than expected with a big gap on the left hand side. It is However big enough for one standard size large plate.
