Unfortunately, even though the memory was suggested for my model of DEL computer I could not use it as it was a different type that that which had been installed at purchase. I had to swap it with memory from another DEL computer, which left me with no memory increase.

Time to mess around with ramdisk on my dual boot system; Windows 7 64-bit/ Windows XP Pro. System Specs: Dell Vostro 410 Q6600 cpu 6GB of ram (Upgraded from 3GB) 640GB WD Black and 2TB WD Green Hard Drives. Power Cooler Radeon 3850 256ram (Next upgrade) Dual drives (DVD-RW+DVD-CDR)
