G.Skill F3-2400c10d-16gtx 16gb 2x8gb Ddr3 Ram 2400mhz

Wonderful upgrade from the 1066mhz I was running. This was definitely a noticeable upgrade to my system without having to replace a decent unit.

great RAM, running on X79 with a X4930 going 4.6Ghz on all 6 cores, memory going right at the 2.4Ghz in a quad channel setup

I have been running 2 8Gb sticks of this memory for about 2 years now, using the XMP profile to obtain the rated 2400 MHz at 10-12-12 timings. Absolutely no problems whatsoever, either with initial installation or ongoing use. I recently purchased the exact same kit (2 x 8 Gb) to bump the memory capability from 16 Gb to 32 Gb. I was worried that these two unmatched sets might not work well together to remain at 2400 MHz, or the chip's (4970k) memory controller might not be up to the task. So, stuck the new sticks in, went into bios to set the XMP profile, and booted her up. The computer had no issues at all and Task Manager showed all 32 Gb. Did a quick, informal memory stress test using Intel stress program - memory passed. Couldn't have been easier, and I couldn't be happier! Kudos again Gskill !

Excellent ram. Clocked to 2400 mhz without one hitch. Did not interfere with my cpu cooler. Superior product at a reasonable price.
