Yamaha MG12XU får ofta beröm för sina mycket rena och lågbrusiga D-PRE-försteg och sin klara, musikaliska klang. Användare uppskattar de inbyggda SPX-effekterna, one-knob-kompressorerna och 24-bit/192 kHz USB-gränssnittet, som gör liveinspelning och streaming enkla utan extra ljudkort. Mixern känns robust tack vare metallchassit och den tydliga layouten gör den lämplig för band, kyrkor, små studior och poddar. Samtidigt återkommer några nackdelar: inte alla kanaler har mid-EQ eller inserts, USB-anslutningen ger bara 2 in/2 ut och är ingen full multitracklösning, och vissa upplever SPX-effekterna som ganska genomsnittliga. Att alla kontakter sitter på ovansidan är inte heller idealiskt i alla fasta rackinstallationer. För den som vill ha en kompakt, pålitlig allt-i-ett-mixer med bra ljud och enkel USB-inspelning är den ändå ett mycket starkt val.

As far as I can see so far it’s fabulous, I’m a newbie to this stuff so I’m not the best to comment on everything yet. So far sound quality is excellent and does what it says on the tin. Maybe a true idiots guide/video or comprehensive glossary would helpful for newbies. Help be a little more inclusive for those learning. Delivery company were not good and left my equipment in an abandoned shop doorway, was just lucky I found it. Obviously that’s not the fault of the retailer

I needed a mixer with many stereo inputs as well as enough inputs for my other gear. This checks all the boxes. It’s easy to use, has no unwanted noise, and fits in with the setup. zZounds makes it happen! Musical Background: Many bands. Eclectic music. 20+ years. Musical Style: Grew up on rock, punk, hip hop, and metal. Evolved into world music. Still play everything.
