Yamaha MG12XU bygger vidare på MG10XU:s styrkor men lägger till fler kanaler och extra routningsmöjligheter. Med upp till sex mikrofoningångar, flera stereokanaler och två gruppbussar är den populär bland band och mindre scener som behöver lite mer flexibilitet. Användare uppskattar de välkända D-PRE-förstegen, som återigen ger ett klart och brusfattigt ljud. Kombinationen av inbyggda SPX-effekter och enrattkompressor på viktiga kanaler gör det enkelt att snabbt få till ett användbart livesound utan mycket extern utrustning. Det robusta metallchassit och de driftsäkra komponenterna nämns ofta som skäl till att MG12XU tål hårt turné- och scenbruk. Nackdelen är att storlek och vikt är tydligt större än hos MG10XU, så den är mindre smidig som ultrakompakt lösning. USB-gränssnittet är fortfarande begränsat till 2 in/2 ut, vilket begränsar seriös flerkanalsinspelning. Även denna modell använder rattar i stället för kanalfaders, något som vissa ljudtekniker inte gillar för exakt mixning. För köpare som främst behöver fler kanaler och grupper för livebruk och värderar driftsäkerhet högre än maximal portabilitet eller avancerade USB-funktioner är MG12XU dock mycket uppskattad.

As far as I can see so far it’s fabulous, I’m a newbie to this stuff so I’m not the best to comment on everything yet. So far sound quality is excellent and does what it says on the tin. Maybe a true idiots guide/video or comprehensive glossary would helpful for newbies. Help be a little more inclusive for those learning. Delivery company were not good and left my equipment in an abandoned shop doorway, was just lucky I found it. Obviously that’s not the fault of the retailer

I needed a mixer with many stereo inputs as well as enough inputs for my other gear. This checks all the boxes. It’s easy to use, has no unwanted noise, and fits in with the setup. zZounds makes it happen! Musical Background: Many bands. Eclectic music. 20+ years. Musical Style: Grew up on rock, punk, hip hop, and metal. Evolved into world music. Still play everything.
