This is my favorite pointing device. I haven’t set up the extra buttons yet, but it works brilliantly right out of the box, without installing the drivers. I’m a big fan of the scroll wheel surrounding the trackball. I’ve read reviews where people complain about dust gathering under the ball. It’s very easy to remove any accumulated dust. I don’t see that as a problem. Besides the mechanics of accurately moving the cursor with the trackball, I really like how this takes so little desk space compared with a traditional mouse.

I don't often leave reviews, just star the items and move on, but I have to say that this has revolutionized how I approach working on both my computer, generally music production. There's a small learning curve, but once you're comfortable with the trackball and have dialed in your preferred sensitivity, it's absolutely fantastic and changes the way you navigate around your setup. Having four buttons, a scroll wheel, and the ability to remap the two top and two bottom buttons as additional double-press functions is amazing. Can't recommend this highly enough!
