Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but assembly was easy and it looks like it will have plenty of power to cut/trim the trees I have.

It doesn't have near as much power as a similar weight gas chainsaw, but OK for what I want it for. Had a hard time about the batteries. Seems that Canada Post won't deliver batteries (?), li-ion batteries(?).

really good saw well thought out, can fill 4x4 with wood on one charge, for sawing to lenth to fit in motor. Good chain well pleased.

Use this saw for cutting up logs and it is every bit as good as a petrol saw.

Well it worked well, but I noticed a small pool of oil was left on the floor wherever it was picked up after being put down. So we'd taken to putting it down on cardboard. It went back to Makita under warranty, and came back with a full tank of oil - that I thought was odd, don't things have to be drained of fluids? I couldn't undo the filler plug at first, even using a screwdriver betwen the two vertical lugs on top of the filler plug. I went and got my stilsons and managed to undo the filler plug. Although the filler cap did go back on top of the tank, it does feel like there's a cross-threaded screw in there now. Send it back uner warranty? - Surely once is enough?
