I was having problems with my PLC disconnecting at every turn, and having changed my router configuration, I switched to wi-fi for my main computer. The speed is only slightly slower and my connection is stable§ Installed in 2 minutes, everything works great.

Simple and quick install (on Windows), no installation files required, just plug and play. Nice cable length for proper placement, as this is crucial for a good signal. Moved it from one side of the desk to the other and doubled the speed. Very happy, this is my second one already.

it's good and has a strong stable connection pretty far from the router through cement walls. Provides me with adequate signal strength and speeds for 90% of tasks. Main problem is it is not 5G as a result if you have a 5G bandwith and a 2.4Ghz bandwidth you are only goiing to be using the 2.4 bandwidth. For me this impacts on internet speeds significantly from +/-450 mbps for 5g down to around 80 mbps for 2.4Ghz, in short if you don't have 5g and don't plan to get 5g anytime soon this is an amazing product.

The unit I received was unreliable, disconnecting from the wi-fi access point 2-3 times a day and sometimes disappearing from the list of USB devices on my PC, so I returned it for replacement. Then Takelot informed me that the supplier was out of stock, so I accepted a credit. However this product is still being offered for sale with a banner, "ONLY 10 LEFT" so someone is not telling the truth! I have used TP-Link products for over 10 years and this is the only one to have a quality issue. I wonder whether it is actually a genuine TP-Link product? The Takealot returns process was handled very professionally and speedily with minimal effort on my part.
