Ubiquiti Gigabit Unifi Lite-16 Switch

Disappointing range compared to a Google Nest Wifi router from 2019 which perfectly covered one floor. Too bad because the software stack is top, even if Unifi would benefit from releasing a beginner mode equivalent to other consumer routers.

Bra switch om man använder Unifi-ekosystemet. Med Unifi Network kan man enkelt se t.ex. vilken enhet är kopplat till vilken port, aktuell dataöverföring mm.

Kom för konfigurerad med namnet Avloppet, så jag behövde återställa den till fabriksinställningarna innan jag kunde använda den. Men annars funkar den fint.

Setup was very straight forward using their app (I used their android version of the app). The UI interface is amazing, I also replaced my current tplink switch with a Unifi switch which assisted with a seamless transition of my LAN setup. Overall amazing product and am loving its software interface too. (FYI it has only 2 LAN ports on it as the description says, worked for my setup as I boight a switch with it too, makesure you check your needs before getting it).

This is a complicated animal of you want it to be. Easy to setup and just use, but if you have issues or just want more details and a greater understanding this router is just brilliant. With the YouTube videos and all the other online support you can just keep improving your understanding. This is without breaking your connection or stuffing things up.
