Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm f/2,8-4 Black (11175)

The Leica 280 F4 R and 180 F2.8 R will cost more than this lens, yet this lens matches their image quality and has image stabilization to increase IQ beyond what you could get handheld with the primes. This lens is heavy and bulky making it difficult to carry but the theres nothing close to it for imaging unless replaced with several primes that will weigh much more.

The lens so dwarfs the Leica T and is so heavy and large that it's difficult to use. However, the pictures taken with it are fantastic. I'm still working on methods to utilize it with other lenses while in the field.

Excellent lens, Extremely sharp and fast focusing. I own 24-90mm and this lens, I will buy summilux-SL 50mm F/1.4 and 16-35mm F/3.5-4.5 .

This is an extremely sharp lands paired with the Leica SL. The lands is heavy but the build quality is excellent and the sharpness of the images is superb. The focal length is an excellent choice.
