I needed a wide lens to use with my Lumix GX85 and because this lens had "Power O.I.S."I thought that it would work in the dual stabilization mode with the GX85. It does not. Also, the power zoom seems to be of little use although you are able to operate the zoom from the camera.

Probably would have been wise to not obtain one with no warranty, or so it was listed when I bought it. Since what I got was a fairly beat up lens that in time began making abnormal audible noise when zooming, or auto-focusing. Making it fairly useless for anything I'm not capturing separate audio for on my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. Seems like they must be scavenging camera parts from dumpsters. Not even heavy use, can't say I've used the lens for more than 12 hours total in the time I've had it. It became less enjoyable to use when it started making noise. I didn't mind the scuffs and scratches till it started to sound wrong. Especially considering most reported it to be an extremely quiet lens, ideal for cinematic recording.

Bought this to use on my Ronan M gimbal. But, it's actually a great little everyday lens for close quarters. I have been using it for behind the scenes on my latest feature.

First I'd like to thank the person who posted a lens review for his Inspire 2. i also have an Inspire 2 with X5S. Love the zoom is great. I just installed on camera and it was recognized on startup, an additional strip comes up on display to zoom in & out using your finger next to camera tilt strip.

Nice power zoom lens. Don't be deceived by the photo. When powered up, the lens extends out just like a point and shoot lens. My only complaint is that the auto-focus is a bit slow. Not sure about the O.I.S. as the test shots I have done have been on a tripod. At F3.5, this is not a preferred low-light lens. Keep that in mind when shooting indoors.
