Had this lens for over a month use it on my Sony a6700 it is great for casual photography the small size and light weight made it a good travel lens. Also very fast focusing.

The svelte E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II lens gets an autofocus upgrade, but Sony's most affordable zoom still has plenty of room for improvement.

Works with the rocker on the VG30, or use the lens rocker with VG20 or Sony DSLR such as A6300. AF is not too fast, not too slow and there is a nice resistance on the zoom ring when set to manual. Does have some weight to it, though. 18-200 is an impressive range and makes for a great video lens, especially when shooting a stage with good light. This is not a full-frame lens.

I initially bought this lens along with the Sony Nex VG 900 camera body. Both items worked really good together until...Pretty soon after the warranty expired the lens broke (something with the motor inside). I sent it to Sony service to be fixed and they told me it's not worth fixing it since it will cost a lot. I liked the combo (camera+lens) so I bought a second one. The second one I have is still running but not perfectly. The lens mechanism jumps with a click while zooming closer to 200mm. It's still ok and does a good job with autofocus, but not worth the money. Very disappointed in the product and Sony service
