My daughters bought this radio for their father as a Christmas gift on Christmas 2023.My husband was in the late stages of Parkinson and had poor eyesight and had become non-verbal. So the radio was very important and he loved listening to his favourite stations. The volume and clarity were perfect. However, for the last 6 months I noticed it started to occasionally not switch on. If I fiddled with the cable it would turn on. This was an intermittent problem but eventually it would not switch on at all. I was so disappointed as our previous radio lasted 15 years!! I am not technical but I am pretty sure that the problem is the cable. Has anyone experienced the same problem and would a new cable solve my problem, please? We are very happy with the radio but disappointed that it should develop a fault within only 18 months.

It was exactly what we wanted. Compact and full of features. Great for our outdoor holidays.

Needed to replace a damaged DAB radio and saw that Good Guys had this unit available. Had a look at the unit in store and decided that it would meet our needs well. Turns out a price match was also in play which made the deal even better. On arriving home the setup was easy and the ease of use and quality is great.

We already had one of these radios, felt we needed a second in our home and had found it easy to use and really we like the buttons to select different stations -so we now have one each with our own preferences on each.
