Sangean PR-D17 är en högkvalitativ bärbar radio, särskilt utformad för synskadade. Den har utmärkt AM/FM-mottagning, tydliga stereo-högtalare och praktiska funktioner som röstmeddelanden, stora knappar, klocka, alarm och sleep timer. RDS och flera språk gör den lättanvänd. AM-ljudet är något dovt och bandgenomsökning är långsam på grund av röstmeddelanden. Ingen bas/diskantkontroll och apparaten är ganska stor. För den som söker en tillgänglig och mångsidig radio med toppmottagning är detta ett utmärkt val.

I recently developed macular degeneration and can no longer work a standard radio (at least with any ease). This radio has saved the day. Controls are clear and easy to use. Selections of individual stations for the preset buttons was simple, and the buttons themselves are easy to locate. One button that announces the time, even when the radio is turned off. Only one complaint. I could not read the setup instructions, so a fully sighted person had to do that. It would be nice to have a large-print sheet with the basic setup, without having to wade through "don't use this radio in the bathtub." So, many thanks for offering this radio, and at a reasonable price.

I love this radio. Everything talks, and is very intuitive. The sound quality exceeded my expectations! I wish you could turn down the volume on the voice prompts. It would be amazing to have it be bluetooth, but fabulous.
