Philips Luddborttagare

Delivers, my sweater and pants are looking better for it. I've owned fabric shavers before but this one beats them all. easy to empty and clean as well.

Worked well at first, but went to use it today (less than 1 year after purchase and using it less than 20 times in total) and the Philips battery that had come with the product had melted or exploded?? there were small fine plastic shards from the unit inside the battery compartment and the battery had gone brown - maybe the battery started leaking?! In any case, it doesn't work anymore even with new batteries. I know it's only a $19 product but I really hate this short use plastic crap.

Bought this to shave the pills off my kids wollen school jersey. Works surprisingly well. Saved buying a $120 new jersey.

The first time I used this fabric shaver, I was impressed. It did the job nicely. The second time I used it, all was going well until the silver blade guard flew off in mid-use, while the twirling blades were exposed. I immediately turned the shaver off and replaced the guard, but the shaver would not ever turn on again. I replaced the batteries; still no go.

This is a great little gadget! So easy to use and brings old clothes back to life! I would definitely recommend one for every household.
