Netgear A6150 WiFi Adapter USB 2.0 1200 MBit/s

bought because my pc doesnt do wifi, enthernet cable no longer reaches pc. turns out you need internet to download software for it to even work. defeats the purpose honestly.

Unfortunately it did work with our Starlink service. It was unable to maintain wifi connection.

For those that use Linux. This device did not work using Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 32 Bit. The Linux Kernel is not supported. This device I did manage to use successfully using Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon 64 Bit. It is used to print by WiFi direct to a HP Smart Tank 7605 Internet connection worked when I tested it.

Great job Netgear! You put out a product you have no support for.

Bought this about 6 months ago and it absolutely blows. Even with power control disabled (borderline unusable network speeds if enabled) the connection is garbage. Tested it with my router less than a foot away and I could barely get over 20 mbps.
