I was gifted this bag five years ago and have used it daily ever since. It has gone with me deep into the Maine wilderness, the African bush, and to work every day. After four and half years of serious wear and tear, the zipper finally broke. I love this backpack so much that I bought a new zipper and fixed it myself. Save yourself the trouble, buy this backpack. You won't need another.

I use this bag daily for work. It remains comfortable even when loaded near capacity. It’s very durable. Not made with cheap materials. I definitely recommend this product whether you use it daily or occasionally.

I needed a backpack for plane trips that could fit under airplane seats. My 20L is too small and I noticed all backpacks from Thule that are around 23L are too long for me - I am 164cm tall. This was also the case with the Indago backpack. Worse yet, all of the Thule backpacks I have tried have very rigid back panels for a laptop protection. I understand such protection is needed but what if I travel with iPad only? The rigidity of the back panels is really uncomfortable. They pushed on my spine instead of molding to the spine curve. It would be extremely useful if such panels were removable. I have tried three of Thule backpacks and all of them have the same issues… I think they should be advertised as made for men and tall women?

The 23L capacity holds a lot more than I expected without being too big. I really like the minimalist design. Not too many pockets, but just enough for organizing day-to-day items. No external cord or daisy chain attachments to get stuck on anything or make the pack look too busy. Added cushioning for the laptop pocket. The material is of high quality. I throw my backpack around a lot and it's held up very well. The shoulder straps are comfortable. This replaced a 20 year old Marmot backpack and it's been a great replacement. I expect to have this one for another 20 years.

I have the older version of this backpack, without the extra zippered pocket on the front. I have had it for almost four years now, and it has been with me everywhere. There are minimal signs of wear, and even those are in unproblematic places. I manage to fit my Nalgene in the side pocket, and carry a lot of things in this small bag. The pockets are great, it is simple, and extremely durable. I highly recommend.
