Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Schampo 250ml/8.5oz

I got large samples of this shampoo and the conditioner it goes with. Well, this has a prciet tag of 65$ for a 250ml shampoo bottle so there is lots to expect. It is an ok shampoo. I have very healthy, medium thick hair, and the shampoo gave a nice lather, had an ok scent (but I know better scented shampoos) and felt ok after rinsing. Together with the conditioner the result was really goo, hair is silky, shiny, soft, and still not weighed down and flexible. I tried the shampoo alone the next time and result was, average at best. Hair was ok but not particularly soft and when dried it looked ok, but not its best for sure. I think the conditioner is the better prodcuct, the shampoo is average at best and thus way overpriced.

Made my hair feel like straw. For such an expensive shampoo, I had high expectations. Oribe’s customer service is awful, too.

This shampoo is pretty average, I even find it a bit drying. My hair is all ready dry and bit damaged so the drying effects didn't help much. Overall the price is outrageous for the performance! I bought the Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner in the liter size. I can say for sure after using the shampoo after prolonged use that I will never buy it again. HOWEVER the Gold Lust Conditioner is amazing!

My hair is color-treated and slightly damaged and I was convinced by a salesperson that this would give me lush, healthy, voluminous hair. Quite the opposite. It weighed my hair down upon the first use. I tried it a few more times and by the end my hair had accumulated quite a bit of buildup. This is a problem I have with a lot of Oribe products. Some are worth it for the effect (love the Mousse) but others definitely aren't. The best I can say about this shampoo is the scent. It may not be for everyone, but some combination of lemon, sandalwood, and a few other magic ingredients make me swoon. But there's a separate Oribe fragrance so you don't have to tolerate a bad product for the scent alone!

I have a dyed blonde bob, my hair is naturally fine and also with the regular bleaching it can be dry. This shampoo is AWFUL, I'm glad I bought the small version and not the large one. It creates sticky, greasy spots in my hair, makes my hair feel sticky and simply gross.
