Xiaomi Amazfit GTS 2 är en rektangulär smartklocka med aluminiumboett och en 1,65" AMOLED-färgskärm. Klockan har inbyggd GPS+GLONASS, optisk pulssensor och flera rörelsesensorer för registrering av daglig aktivitet och olika sportprofiler. Batteriet på 246 mAh är angivet till ungefär sju dagars normal användning och längre i energisparläge. Modellen är vattentät till 5ATM och har cirka 3 GB intern lagring för lokala musikfiler.

Battery life is ok, kind of. Good for the price though. Tracks well. Easy to answer calls with clear voice output. Light weight. Trendy and fashionable. Looks great on the wrist.

Comprehensive tracking features and a slim design make the Amazfit GTS 2 an attractive value proposition, but if you can afford to spend a little more you’ll find smoother software from Apple and Fitbit’s affordable offerings.

With the GTS 2, Huami has refined the design of its square smartwatch for the better and also made it a better smartwatch. The downside is that it’s got a little more expensive and lost a bit of its battery stamina and appeal in the way. If you want an attractive square smartwatch that doubles as a decent fitness tracker, it’s one to look at. If you want a more rounded smartwatch and sports tracking, look in the direction of Garmin and Apple.

The Amazfit GTS 2 is still a good smartwatch, but it's been shown up by the cheaper GTS 2 Mini and GTS 2e. The advanced voice assistant and music features are too weak to justify the price hike – so we're pleased there are alternatives in the GTS range. But the hike in price, which coincides with the lower cost of the Apple Watch SE, Fitbit Versa 3 with GPS and even the Amazfit Bip U, make the GTS 2 seem less impressive this time around.
