I got Q85H PRO this JULY 2026.The secret to solve sound quality and capacity is to update as of this date to firmware version 55.x.x.43 via TCL APPS with WIFI and BLUETOOTH to connect to BAR . Get a 4K 120HZ HDMI cable. Connect to eARC of TV and eARC of sound bar. Got to TV settings (sound output from PCM to PASS THRU . Download TCL HOME APPS to your android phone with WIFI signal and BLUE TOOTH to register your TCL BAR to control and use AI SONIC sorround diagnostic. SET to MODE to MOVIE clarity and adjust your BASS and TREBLE . Go look for YOUTUBE for any 5.1 immersion Test AUDIO/ VIDEO

Soundbar sounds terrible when not playing Dolby Atmos. Centre speaker dialogue and vocals are that bad it sounds like they are talking underwater. Have changed numerous hdmi cables etc to no avail. Have calibrated it thru AI and still same. Sub bass is punchy for a 6.5" sub. Rear speakers are not bad either. I have been reading the centre speaker issue is quite common in this model so not sure if it's a factory fault or not, says it's software is up to date. Would look at the JBL bar 1000 if looking for a top notch sound and thumping bass.
