I now enjoy ironing. The steam iron is very efficient and makes the chore of ironing much faster and easier.

I recently started using the Philips 8500, and it has genuinely transformed a task I used to dread. The setup is incredibly easy to use—from filling the water tank to adjusting the settings, everything feels intuitive. In the past I always avoided ironing, but the efficiency and smooth performance of this unit have made the chore much more manageable. Yes, it does take up space, but so does a traditional ironing board, and having a dedicated spot for ironing actually encourages me to do it more often. I now find myself wanting to iron, which is something I never thought I’d say. If you’re looking for a user-friendly solution that makes ironing easier and less of a burden, the Philips 8500 is well worth considering.

This is a great product, water heats up pretty quickly so in a matter of 30-40 seconds the iron is ready. Flat or vertical ironing board function is a bit sticky, not to be expected from an expensive item like this one. The other downside is that steam when condensed after use drips from the bottom of the board on floor and can create puddles of water. The iron itself is great but the value for money is a bit lacking in this case.

Love the steamer, it is the best one I have used yet. What stands it out is the ironing board that can be used on different angles. Very sturdy, powerful unit.

Replaces my iron, ironing board and steamer. Easy to use and stores in my closet. Best present I’ve bought myself this year!
