This pack had a lot of good features and seemed to be made of really good materials. I really liked the trampoline mesh back panel. The only issue I had was when it was loaded, every time I walked the hip belt squeaked. This started about a mile into the trail. It drove my friends and I nuts! I took it to REI to exchange but they didn’t have this exact model in stock. Bummer. I traded it for an Osprey Atoms AG 65 (not the LT model) and it seems nice.

I chose this Osprey over other brands because it features the AG Anti-Gravity system, and wow, it didn't disappoint. For backpacking in a climate as hot and humid as Puerto Rico, it was definitely the best choice.

Finally got a chance to use this on a recent trip to the Sierra, needed the extra room and weight capacity for all the winter gear and the pack handled 45 Lbs. like a champ. After fiddling with the adjustments I landed in a happy spot that allowed me to put down some mileage without feeling too strained. I would really grade it at 4.5 stars, docking it a halfer for the waist belt being a bit bulkier than I wanted it to be, making the ventilation work a bit less effectively as a result. For comparison purposes, my Exos 58L (3rd gen w/o the belt pockets) fits seamlessly on my hips and vents better. At ~4 Lbs it's not super light, but there are some nice thoughtful touches throughout the pack and construction looks like it will withstand a nuke. Overall, a great pack for trips that demand a heavier load.

I just want to say that Paul from Paradise Valley location helped me out with this pack. He was truly knowledgeable and understanding. He knew what I was looking for. As for the pack …the Osprey AG LT 65 is a great fitting pack. My torso size is 20.5” so I went with the lg/xl. If there’s a backpack you can actually sleep in, it’s this one. Fits like it’s custom! Don’t hesitate,.. get this bag. Much better than original AG.
