Osprey Kestrel 38l Ryggsäck

Just what I was looking for. I needed a tube style pack for overnighters. Very similar to my Aether in back support but smaller. I actually bought this for longer Canyoneering hikes that weren’t to abusive. Hoping that my back will be happier with it over my canyon packs. Haven’t tried it yet but the overnight went well.

Very pleased with this backpack; haven’t used it as yet. Look forward to spring / summer for my hiking trips.

I love Osprey backpacks for there durability and features. My first Osprey lasted for approximately 17 years compared to other brands which lasted me for about 5 years. Although they are more expensive they are well worth the extra expense due to there durability and long useful life .

So far very impressed with the pack. Very customizable set up for various frame builds. There are numerous adjustments to allow for securing small to very bulky loads. Pack maintained air flow to the back area which was noticeable and appreciated I’ve only taking on (1) 14 mile hike with approx 40lbs as I’m training for Bataan heavy division with my son I will use it for that 26.2 mile Journey Frame seems rigid enough for designed weight and hip belt is comfortable. Thus far no complaints at all. Would recommend looking at this pack if it’s a contented for what you need

Comfortable fit, flexible options. One of the helpful features are the larger side pockets - esp compared to my Osprey Talon 22. Top compartment is accessible and also allows for a fairly quick snowshoe on and off. Bottom compartment stays accessible and the straps on bottom allow you to carry a pad if you wish. The fit and comfort are excellent for me - in part because I bought it in-store and had help with the many adjustments. Although I bought it for the large capacity for winter (puffy, extra clothes, etc.) I have used it in non-winter conditions and found the hydration bladder to work well - have to snake the hose out the back, just follow the marks.
