Celestron Nexstar 130 Slt Teleskop

Telescope works great! Bought a plug in adapter for it because this eats batteries.

Great telescope so far, bunch of attachments amd easy to use! Takes 8 batteries, but they sell a wall adapter as well.

Not able to review this telescope yet but it looks great. We have only just unpacked it and still need to read all the instructions to set it up properly. And we cannot do that yet as our skies, every night, are covered in clouds due to bad weather.

Lovely device overall, looking forward to learning with it. I had it in mind for a number of months after a recommendation. In the early stages, yet to get the computer alignment process right but seems decent enough viewing once I line it up manually. A few small slight scratches on the casings, but has no bearing on the performance. Recommended.

A well designed telescope which worked well for the first 3 observing sessions. On the 4th night, the telescope showed a drive error on the hand controller. After testing, it was determined that the controller board was bad. The telescope was still well under warranty, but Celestron support refused to send me a replacement board. Instead, I had to carefully box up the entire mount, and ship it back to them at a cost of over $70. I would be giving the scope at least 3 stars if not for the wasted time and money caused by their terrible repair policy - which is more work for them - and huge waste of my time and money. They could have just sent me the part and I would have been good to go. This is my second Celestron telescope and Ill never buy from them again.
