Was dead set at buying another cordless one, however, this design by Philips intrigued me. So I gave it a shot for about thirty bucks and I am actually extremely impressed! The handling and clipping power is epic allowing me to shave my head with precision, swiftness, and ease. I was worried about the cord getting in the way but I didn't seem to have any issues and before I knew it; I was finished my trim!

Bald spots, patchyI bought this and had to shave all of my hair off. On different size combs it left me with almost down to the skin bald patches. Even on the higher settings it left bald patches. On the higher settings, if you slightly change the angle it will leave a bald patch. At the end of the day it looked like a blindfolded baby cut my hair and I had to completely shave it down which I'm not used too and with the cold weather It has been very unconfortable. Sure I could have used a toque but if I preferred a toque over styling my hair I wouldn't have bought this

My main reason for wanting to buy new clippers was 'Comfort'. I always shave my head to the scalp, buzz cut? and my last clippers were very uncomfortable on my scalp. these new 3000 series are way better & if you just shave your head like I do? I'd say you have nothing to fear when it comes to comfort ;-)
