I bought this item for £1,000 with £100 cash back. I am 86yo and I would have needed an IT degree to get the £100 - and three months to manage it - after four attempts. It seemed to be designed that people would give up and forget about the £100!

I bought a Sony TV and soundbar and was told I could apply for £100 cashback after 35 days which was a great incentive....I did it and had the money in my account 10 days later - great rewards system. If I was doing it again I probably wouldn't buy the soundbar as the TV audio is already excellent so the soundbar didn't add too much.

Our research showed that this television was a mid-range price compared to the competition. This unit has a good quality picture and we enhanced the audio with a generic sound bar and we're pleased with the results. It was also easy to assemble and the software made for an easy start up. We noted previous reviews regarding the lack of a Kayo app and the very basic remote. We found the Kayo app was easily added to our viewing package. The criticism of the remote is valid - it is okay but could be better. Overall, this television represents good value for money and we had the unit in less than a week of ordering.
