just bought one of these read speed is usable at 120mbs write is 25mbs im getting 1mb very bad product not of any use on modern computers unless writing txt files, anything over 10-30mb+ locks up the computer very very bad

Bought this today to use with my new MacBook Air and it is slower than belief - 17 hours to transfer 6GB of files to it. I have wasted £25 on this crap. It says USB 3, my machine has USB 4, so why is it so slow???

Since my last 32GB USB drive was broken 5 years ago, I thought of buying a replacement many times. Before buying every time I asked myself, "do I really need it?" No. I could use my phone with a USB cable to serve as a USB drive; I could use my MP3 player; I could use Google Drive; I could use email; I could use SFTP... But last time I forgot to ask myself this question, so now I have a USB Drive...
