Overall these are really good quality and solidly made boots, and they seem like they’d hold up well with use. I unfortunately probably won’t use them enough to find out though — they’re pretty tight in the toe box for my taste, and while the stiffness could be great for people looking for more foot protection, it means there isn’t much give. My toes feel trapped! Recommend sizing up. They’re also pretty heavy and a little warm, better ventilation would be appreciated. They’re still very good, just not my preference. The ankle support is nice though, sturdy but not too confining. I also love the laces. These are some of the few shoes I’ve ever had that stay tied securely without double knots.

As others have said, these are great for shock absorption and very waterproof. However, these have no structure in the upper ankle - no matter how tightly I tie them, my toes get slammed into the front when descending steep slopes. Additionally, after 100 miles the rubber toe protector is delaminating. These are going back. HOKA - you nearly have a winner here, but this level or durability and support isn't good enough for $250 shoes.

I was looking for the same comfort as the Bondi nine but with a little more comfort for hiking. The Kaha is perfcet

Great comfortable boot that you can wear all day long. They run small, at least for me, I had to size up half a size to get a more comfortable fit.

Purchased these boots for a recent hiking trip to Switzerland. I have Plantar fasciitis and was looking for a boot that would provide the right mix of comfort and performance, and these boots exceeded my expectations. Super comfortable right out of the box, and the comfort doesn't wane, even after all-day hikes. The boots have great support, and my feet feel secure on any pitch. Vibram soles provide great traction on mixed terrain. Only negative feedback would be related to lacing: I found the shape and style of the lower lace holes to be a little tight, and didn't allow for a smooth glide. I also found the shape and orientation of the three upper lace hooks make them slightly prone to catching on the other boot when negotiating narrow terrain. These small bits of feedback are eclipsed by the overall comfort and performance of the boot. I highly recommend.
