Fantastic camera. Great in low light with a really bright LCD viewfinder. Having the focus, zoom and the iris on the the lens is a big bonus for pro users as it’s not available on the cheaper cameras from Panasonic. The weight is remarkable low considering how highly specced this camera is with its professional video and audio connections. Superb battery life make this camera a must buy.

I bought this camera, knowing that the remote control was changed to the Lanc system. My opinion, big mistake. Quality, ok not as good as the DVX200 but it does have a decent zoom lens and is nice and wide angle. It exports UHD and allows both UHD to be recorded in camera and in an external recorder (Ninga V+) (old Samurai wont do it ... can't handle the signal) which is a plus.) at the same time. So far my remote doesn't allow iris control and don't know if another controller will allow this feature. Stupid in dumping that control. Overall, easy to use, pictures are nice with the 4:2:2 as it sees those hot colours that are often missed. Colours in viewfinder are more accurate than the DVX200 so that is a big plus as it makes it easier to dial in the colour temp. Overall pretty good camera
