It's even bright enough to look good in rooms with a few lights on. Still, its contrast struggles in darker scenes, so it definitely looks best when sticking to happier, brighter movies. Its pre-calibration accuracy is excellent overall, so there's no need to have this projector calibrated to get accurate colors.

The BenQ X3100i doesn’t stand out as the best projector in any one area, but its admirable performance in both cinema and gaming setups makes it a serious double threat and one that provides high value for users with diverse needs.
