The HTC Vive Focus Vision is an interesting headset, for both price and features. If you want a PC passthrough option that has excellent picture quality, it's certainly a solid option, but those looking for standalone VR could save plenty of money by looking elsewhere. Some outdated components stop it from really soaring, too.

The Vive Focus Vision is a sleek premium standalone VR headset that can also deliver solid PC VR. But it’s also running aging hardware, it’s riddled with software issues and it’s expensive compared to the Meta Quest 3.

Coming from XR Elite, I wanted to upgrade my PC VR setup and the DP kit experience is great! The fresnel lenses are fine, having automatic IPD really helps get the sweet spot lined up perfectly that it's not much of an issue, and allows it to be shared with my family as well (trying to get people to adjust IPD is a pain). Being able to also use the headset wirelessly is fantastic as well! Super happy with this!
